On February 9, 1966, Appellant Eads appeared before the district court with his attorney to be arraigned on an information charging him with six counts of interstate transportation of a stolen motor vehicle, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2312. A guilty plea was entered on all six counts, and the court sentenced him to serve five years on the first count.
