OPINION BY HOFFMAN, J., December 11, 1973:

The instant appeal from a denial of post-trial motions involves some unusual legal issues and tragic consequences of an automobile accident.

On August 1, 1963, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the wife-appellee, Delta N. Eldridge, accompanied by her two youngest children, was traveling in a northerly direction along U.S. Route 611. As she rounded a curve in the two-lane roadway, a truck proceeding in a southerly direction...
