The defendant was convicted of arson of a synagogue and of breaking and entering the synagogue in the nighttime with intent to commit arson. Upon appeal under G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, the Appeals Court affirmed the convictions. Commonwealth v. Harris, Mass. App. Ct.
