(hereinafter called Proctor) instituted suit in December, 1968, against one Carruth Linn in the St. Francis County Circuit Court seeking judgment against Linn on an account and note. Linn filed a cross-complaint (counter-claim), seeking damages against Proctor for allegedly converting his soybeans, trespassing on land leased by him in order to convert said soybeans, and seeking punitive damages for the conversion...
