This is an action brought pursuant to the Civil Rights Act of 1866, 42 U.S.C. § 1982, seeking a declaratory judgment, temporary restraining order, and compensatory damages of $20,000 for an alleged act of racial discrimination by the defendants in their refusal to show the plaintiffs an apartment.
