Petitioner, who holds valid credentials both as a classroom teacher and as an administrator, had, prior to the 1971-1972 school year, been acting as dean of students at a high school in the Santa Barbara High School District. In October of 1971 he was advised by the superintendent of schools of that district that he would not be so reassigned for the school year 1972-1973, but that his assignment for the 1972...
