These consolidated cases arose out of an automobile accident which occurred on the Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans at about 9:00 P.M. on September 6, 1967. Involved were a Corvair operated by Chester Wood, Jr., in which Cynthia D. Peters, then the minor daughter of Mrs. Elton M. Mistich, Sr., was a passenger, and a Volkswagen operated by Margaret E.
