The Grand Jury of Madison County, Alabama, charged the appellant with unlawful possession and sale of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide in violation of Title 22, Section 258(21-24), Code of Alabama 1940, as amended. After the Jury's verdict found appellant guilty as charged, he elected to be sentenced under the Alabama Uniform Controlled Substances Act,1 and judgment fixed punishment at six years in the penitentiary.
