This is a suit for personal injuries resulting from a vehicular accident. The defendants are Charles Smith, driver of one of the vehicles involved, C. T. Patterson Co., Inc., Smith's employer, and their insurer, Gulf Insurance Company. Defendants' answer denies liability and alternatively pleads contributory negligence.
