As a result of the holdup of a market defendant was found guilty of three counts of armed robbery. The jury returned special verdicts finding that at the time of the offenses defendant was "armed with a dangerous and deadly weapon, to wit, a pistol" (impliedly evoking Pen. Code, § 3024) and finding also that he used a firearm in violation of Penal Code...
