CALOGERO, Justice.

John Willis was charged in a bill of information with armed robbery. On May 29, 1970, he waived formal arraignment and pleaded "Not Guilty". On May 17, 1972, defendant (appellant) withdrew his plea of "Not Guilty" and substituted a plea of "Guilty" to the charge of armed robbery. On September 8, 1972, after a presentence investigation was conducted, defendant was sentenced to serve ten (10) years in the state penitentiary without benefit of probation...
