The defendants were indicted by the Bossier Parish Grand Jury for the crime of perjury in connection with testimony given by them before the grand jury. The cases were consolidated for trial, and numerous pre-trial motions were filed by each defendant, including motions to quash the indictments. A hearing was set for September 18, 1972.
