This is, apparently, the first case in California in which jurisdiction has been predicated on Seider v. Roth (1966) 17 N.Y.2d 111 [269 N.Y.S.2d 99, 216 N.E.2d 312]. To our knowledge it is the first case outside of New York that accepts, rather than rejects, Seider. Seider and the cases following it hold that jurisdiction quasi in rem may be
