The defendant Thomas was convicted in the Court of Common Pleas of possession for sale and sale of narcotics. She appealed to this Court assigning three errors:

"(1) The defendant was denied due process of law and deprived of a fair trial as a consequence of certain gratuitous remarks made by the Court, which remarks perforce bolstered, in face of the all-out effort being made by the defense to destroy, the credibility of the State's chief witness...
