The facts are quite simple. It was alleged Hebel and several other men broke into a locked storage shed at a Rex Chainbelt construction site in the city of Waukesha on November 12, 1970, and were loading lumber and other property from the shed and the construction site onto a truck when the police arrived at the scene. The primary witness against Hebel was one of the men involved, who was granted immunity. He testified the men involved knew that a crime...
