This is a suit by a mother and her son (emancipated since the injury) for medical expenses and for damages resulting from Terry Davis' loss of an eye. On the application of the plaintiffs, we granted writs1 to review the judgment of the Court of Appeal, 274 So.2d 840 (La.App. 3rd Circuit 1973), which had reduced the quantum and exonerated one of the defendants.
