This is an appeal by Melvin Keeney who was found guilty of rape at a trial without a jury in the circuit court of Rock Island County on March 3, 1967, and thereafter sentenced to a term of not less than 2 years nor more than 7 years. The sole issue on appeal is whether the State proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Keeney was guilty of rape. Defendant particularly challenges the State...
