This suit in equity has been brought by Gretchen T. Gorman, the settlor and lifetime beneficiary under a "Trust Providing for Discretionary Distributions" (discretionary payments trust), dated July 7, 1966, against Paul R. Stein, Torsten Norvig, and Henry B. Thielbar, the trustees under this trust,1 and the living children and grandchildren of the plaintiff who are contingent beneficiaries.2
