Defendant, Loren Jolly, was charged, along with Ceasar Montevecchio1 and Joseph Giacalone,2 with the armed robbery of the Hirsch Jewelry Store. MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797. The crime occurred in the City of Flint on August 15, 1967. On September 16, 1968, at the conclusion of an extensive trial, the jury returned a verdict of guilty as charged.
