The only serious issue in this case is whether appellant was denied his constitutionally guaranteed right to the effective assistance of counsel.1

The facts are relatively simple. The victim testified that he was accosted by appellant and two accomplices in a parking lot at about 6 p.m. He stated that one of the accomplices held him from behind, while the other stood in front of him with a knife...
