The merchandise of these consolidated actions consists of a chemical described as Chloramphenicol Intermediate Dthreo - 1 - p - nitrophenyl - 2 - aminopropnediol-(1.3), which is commonly referred to as "levo base", and said to be the 12th intermediate in the manufacture of chloramphenicol.
