James R. Nelson allegedly suffered an injury to his back on February 6, 1969. At the time of the injury, Nelson was employed by Rockport Yacht & Supply Co., Inc. (called "RYSCO" hereafter). He filed notice of injury and claim for compensation with the Texas Industrial Accident Board of the State of Texas about four months after the alleged injury occurred.
