The plaintiff in the captioned case has brought an action in interpleader as the stakeholder of the proceeds on an insurance policy which it had issued to John E. Harley, Sr. At the time of Harley's death, November 19, 1972, the policy was in full force and effect and the plaintiff became obligated to pay the total sum of the policy, or $30,000, to the named beneficiary.
