This petition is one of two1 bringing under review an order promulgated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission in a proceeding initiated by D.C. Transit System, Inc. (Transit) for authority to increase its fares for public transportation by bus in the District of Columbia and its suburbs. That order, No. 773, granted increases, but in amounts lower than those sought;
