A grand jury indictment was returned in April 1971 charging defendant Abrams with a one count violation of 50 U.S.C. App. § 462, that on or about April 8, 1970 and continuing to and including the date of the indictment, Abrams wilfully and knowingly neglected, failed and refused to report for induction as ordered.
