TURRENTINE, District Judge:

Cook was arraigned and pleaded not guilty along with his co-defendant, one Segal, on August 21, 1972. Representing Cook was his retained counsel, Mr. Schwartz. A trial date of October 10 was set.

On October 10, attorney Schwartz requested a continuance in order that Cook might obtain different counsel, citing "irreconcilable differences" which had arisen between attorney and client regarding primarily trial tactics and strategy...
