Appellant, Gary Leo Jennings, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried, and convicted in the District Court of Oklahoma County on two Informations, heard together by agreement, for the offense of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon drawn under 21 O.S. 1971, § 645.
