Appellant was convicted below of conspiracy, of making false written statements in connection with the acquisition of firearms, and of falsifying federal forms; he seeks a new trial—not on the basis of insufficiency of the evidence— but on four grounds: that he was deprived of a fair trial by virtue of the Government's introduction of "voluminous, irrelevant and highly prejudicial evidence" in connection with its proof on the conspiracy...
