Plaintiff, Paul J. Hilst, sold certain bar equipment and fixtures to Robert D. Martin, and transferred to him Hilst's leasehold interest in the bar where the equipment was located. The purchase price was paid by two promissory notes in the amounts of $21,300 and $5,213.92, respectively. As security for the notes, Hilst received an assignment back of the lease and a chattel mortgage on the personal property...
