The petitioner, Joseph C. Roland, appeals from an order of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, denying his petition for the writ of habeas corpus. Petitioner was convicted of first degree murder in a Michigan court in 1966. Having exhausted his state remedies, he filed his petition in the court below for habeas corpus and an order was entered granting the relief sought upon the ground that the petitioner's credibility...
