Plaintiff, the foreman of a gang of longshoremen, suffered a stroke on December 26, 1969, while sitting at a desk in an office filling out his daily report form. The men had been engaged in helping to load grain onto a vessel moored at the Western Maryland Grain Elevator Pier, Port Covington, Baltimore. Plaintiff claims that the stroke was caused by unusually heavy work and worry during the day...
