These are appeals from a joint trial, in which both appellants were convicted of murder with malice. The punishment of appellant Johnny Machado was assessed at fifteen (15) years; that of appellant Guadalupe Machado was fixed at life. Although separate appeals have been filed, appellants, through their attorney, have submitted a joint brief and joint grounds of error.
