On Sunday afternoon, September 8, 1968, immediately after the two-minute warning had been given signaling the end of the Buffalo Bills' season opening game against the Boston Patriots, the plaintiff, Stanley Kasper, while walking out of Buffalo's War Memorial Stadium fell, sustaining serious injuries to his back.
