These suits were filed by State Securities, Inc., plaintiff-appellee, in January, 1970, in the magistrate court of San Juan County, Division II, to recover on notes alleged to be due. Jimmy Anderson, Ruby Anderson and Raymond Mike, defendants-appellants, are Navajo Indians who reside on the Navajo Indian Reservation.
