Appellant was tried and convicted in the Circuit Court of Monroe County, Mississippi for grand larceny and sentenced to serve 3 years in the state penitentiary less credit for time served in the county jail awaiting trial.

Appellant was apprehended in West Point, Mississippi about 11:30 p.m. in possession of an automobile that had been stolen the previous day from a dealer in Monroe County, Mississippi...
