HARRIS, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of murder in the first degree in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County and sentenced to life imprisonment. Prior to arraignment is was ascertained that appellant was indigent and counsel was appointed to represent him.

This is a bizarre case. There were four eye witnesses to the killing. Appellant knew the witnesses and they knew him yet he denied he was at the scene. A police...
