DOUGLAS, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of robbery by assault. The jury assessed punishment at fifty years.

Appellant's brief, containing twenty-one grounds of error, was not timely filed in accordance with the provisions of Article 40.09, Vernon's Ann.C.C.P. However, in the interest of justice, we have examined his allegations and find only two that should be discussed...
