Defendant Ronald Williams was tried and convicted by a jury of the unlawful distribution of 8.26 grams of heroin, a Schedule I narcotic drug controlled substance, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841. The defendant has moved for judgment of acquittal pursuant to Fed.R.Crim.P. 29 or, in the alternative, for a new trial pursuant to Fed.R.Crim.P. 33.
