This is an original proceeding in prohibition commenced in the St. Louis Court of Appeals1 attacking the jurisdiction of respondent to proceed in an action by the State of Missouri on the relation of its attorney general against relators, thirty state banks, and others. The court of appeals issued its preliminary rule but thereafter, by opinion, quashed it. On motion of relators we ordered the case transferred to this court...
