BARHAM, J., concurs. However, a literal reading of the law R.S. 15:574.4 entitles parole consideration upon the serving of 1/3 of each sentence, though the applicant has a total confinement under several consecutive sentences. However, a strict reading and construction of this statute in this fashion departs from the purpose of parole as reflected in R.S. 15:574.2...
