JACKSON, Commissioner.

The appellant, Huey Franklin Emmons, was charged with an aggravated assault upon Charley Campbell, Jr., with a knife. A jury convicted him and assessed his punishment at a fine of $750.

Charley Campbell, Jr., Charles Minton, Jerry Rogers, with their wives, and Jerrald Landry, were at a lounge in Houston. Appellant and two companions were also there, but not in the Campbell-Minton party. As the Campbell-Minton party...
