OPINION

SIMS, J.

Appellant, as the guardian of an incompetent, has appealed from a "judgment" (order) entered in the guardianship proceedings which ordered him to pay $15,800.23 from the assets of the estate of the incompetent to the Department of Mental Hygiene for charges incurred by the department in providing for her care at Napa State Hospital from May 1966 through June 1969. (See Welf. & Inst. Code, § 7279.
