These consolidated law suits both claim damages for personal injuries allegedly incurred as the result of an automobile accident. On July 10, 1970, at about 9:45 a.m., defendant, Hosea Manuel, was driving a Ford automobile on Highway 190 at Lacombe, Louisiana. His car was headed east. Plaintiff, Mrs. Vivian Buras Cusimano, was at the wheel of a Pontiac automobile which was stopped in the path of defendant's automobile. The weather was rainy....
