BAZELON, Chief Judge:

Appellant was convicted of first degree felony murder, first degree premeditated murder,1 and robbery.2 He was committed for observation pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 5010(e), the Youth Corrections Act. The resultant 5010(e) report recommended adult sentencing. On the basis of this report and for stated additional reasons, the trial judge sentenced appellant as an adult to terms of 20 years...
