This is an appeal from an order of the district court denying, after an evidentiary hearing, the appellant's petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The petitioner is a prisoner held under the authority of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on a conviction of assault with intent to ravish and on two convictions for rape unrelated to the former.
