On August 3, 1966, Artnell Company and National Broadcasting Company, Inc., entered into a radio broadcasting contract by the terms of which NBC was to broadcast over WMAQ AM and FM, NBC's Chicago radio stations, all of the White Sox games in 1967 and 1968 and was to pay Artnell $350,000 in 1967 and $375,000 in 1968.
