On August 13, 1969, one Jennings Howard Roberts, a convict, on escape from the West Virginia State Penitentiary, drove a tractor-trailer into collision with a building owned and operated as a partnership by the plaintiffs as "Fina Truck Haven" at Cameron, Missouri. This collision resulted in substantial property damage to the physical structures. To recover such damage, this suit was brought in DeKalb County, Missouri, by the plaintiffs against Far-Go...
