LUMBARD, Circuit Judge:

Frank Tramontana appeals from a judgment of conviction, entered after a jury trial in the Eastern District, for embezzlement of mail in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1708. We affirm.

The issue on appeal is the admissibility of Tramontana's two confessions and contraband seized from the trunk of his car. The following facts were adduced at a pretrial suppression hearing.
