Appellant, James Edward Thomas White, hereafter referred to as defendant, was convicted by a jury in the District Court of Tulsa County on the 9th day of October, 1970, for the crime of first degree manslaughter, and was sentenced to a term of twenty-five years in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
