Steven Tillman and Earl Mims were convicted of murder, attempted murder and armed robbery in violation of Sections 8-4, 9-1 and 18-2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, pars. 8-4, 9-1 and 18-2), respectively, in a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County. They were tried together and each was sentenced to a term of 60 to 90 years...
